Jharkhali, 26 January: 69th year on the day of the Republic Day, the unprecedented advent of the people of the Sundarbans is a pride for the people of West Bengal. This flag is made of 210 feet long and 4 feet in diameter, organized by the volunteer organization World Vision India. The Republic Day Day celebrations were organized at Herobhanga Vidyasagar Vidyamandir in Jharkhali region of Basanti block of South 24 Parganas district. A rally with a national flag of 210 feet was organized. Herobhanga Vidyasagar vidyamandir was taken from to Jharkhali Raja more. The 7 km long road is crossed. The school students participate in the rally. The general people of the road crowd gathered to see the national flag. This was the first rally in West Bengal with such a big flag. Mary Haldar, a housewife, sewed the national flag for two days. Artist Prashant Sarkar, the artist in charge of the flag, is going to take forward the society. May it be possible for the people to take the lead. It is a great example of this that Sundarban is backward. Police administration of Jharkhali police station kept strict security arrangements.
